Oracle Training

Oracle Training: Oracle has developed a series of certification tracks designed to enable developers and IT professionals to demonstrate their level of knowledge and expertise. Each certification track requires a series of exams to be taken. For many professionals the best way to prepare for the exams is to complete detailed Oracle training.

A list of the currently active certification tracks is as follows:

Database Administrator

  • Oracle 10g Certified Associate, Professional and Master
  • Oracle9i Certified Associate, Professional and Master
  • OCP DBA Upgrade Paths
  • Oracle8i Certified Professional (no longer available after 12/31/04

Application Developer

  • Oracle9i PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate and Forms Developer Certified Professional
  • Oracle9i Forms Developer OCP Upgrade Path
  • Oracle Forms 6i Developer Certified Professional

Web Application Server Administrator

  • Oracle9i Application Server Certified Associate

Levels of Oracle Certification: There are three levels of certification. These are:

  • Oracle Certified Associate - demonstrates entry level skills
  • Oracle Certified Professional - demonstrates a full range of skills and expertise
  • Oracle Certified Master - this highest level of Oracle certification, and requires in depth technical knowledge of the Oracle Server and has industry experience in managing mission critical Oracle database systems and applications

Schools Offering Oracle Training: Many schools offer Oracle training. In this training you will take courses that help you prepare for the various Oracle certifications. In addition to assisting you in obtaining certification, Oracle training will provide you with knowledge and skills that will be applicable in your job. Many schools, colleges, and universities offer Oracle training.
